Description
Founded in Denmark in 1968. Kvadrat is deeply rooted in the tradition of Scandinavian design and offers innovative textiles in a wide range of fields, from space to electronics. This product features "Sisu", a fabric created by contemporary artist Danh Vo, which is a large-scale modification of kvadrat's archive textile*.
This flight jacket features an iconic back sleeve with "Sisu" switching. The colors and paneling of the textile give it a rhythmic impression. The removable tag on the left sleeve made of the same fabric is also a highlight. The main body is nylon twill with a unique faded feel that gives it a vintage feel.
The padding is made of Climashield®, which is also used in modern military wear. It has the same heat retention as down, but is lightweight and maintains its functionality even in humid environments and repeated wearing. Its compact volume makes it a versatile outerwear that can be worn with any innerwear.
*The fabric is based on "Hallimgdal", which designer Nanna Ditzel designed for Kvadrat in 1965.
