Description
Founded in Denmark in 1968. Kvadrat is deeply rooted in the tradition of Scandinavian design and provides innovative textiles for a wide range of fields, from space to electronics. This product features "Sisu", a fabric created by contemporary artist Danh Vo, which is a large-scale modification of kvadrat's archive textile*.
"Sisu" features a strong yet delicate check pattern. The contrast of colors and brightness creates a sense of rhythm in the fabric. The voluminous wool provides warmth and the interior is highly durable, contributing to protection from the cold. The silhouette is a relaxed fit with room in all widths.
The collar, which touches the skin, is switched with soft lambskin, achieving both comfort and design points.
"Sisu" is also used for the ribbon tag on the cigar pocket.
This is a new authentic wear that combines Scandinavian design and function, injecting a mixed sense by SOPHNET.
*The fabric is based on "Hallimgdal", which designer Nanna Ditzel designed for Kvadrat in 1965.
